Welcome to HU Você Sabe! Exploring Portuguese at Howard University. This digital exhibition is a faculty-student project that provides insights into the African Diaspora and it's relationship to the Portuguese speaking world through projects that focus on issues that intersect with politics, artistic productions, and foodways. 

The expression "HU Você Sabe!" is a translation of Howard University's main slogan: "HU You Know!" It's chanted by Howard University students, faculty, and alumni at university events and gatherings.
